Emily Olivas

PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR

Emily has worked in Early Childhood Education since 2005. She attended Kendall College, where she earned a B.A. in Early Childhood Education with a focus on English Language Learners. Her teaching career began at Head Start in Illinois before she moved to Colorado with her husband and two children in 2013. She spent six years teaching at a local Christian preschool, then served as director for an additional four years. In 2025, she joined the LCP family as the preschool director. She believes children are curious creatures who are eager to learn. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, painting, and crafting.

ADYLENNE VARELa

ASSISTANT TEACHER

I am a bilingual professional with more than three years of experience working in an elementary school setting, with experience supporting preschool students and students in Special Education as a paraprofessional. My faith in God guides me in the way I serve others. I believe every child has a unique purpose and deserves patience, compassion, encouragement, and the opportunity to grow. I strive to be a positive presence in the lives of the students and families I serve. Fluent in English and Spanish, I value communication, kindness, teamwork, and creating a supportive environment where every child can feel seen, respected, and encouraged. I am also blessed to be a mother of four children. My family has taught me the value of love, patience, responsibility, and faith. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going for walks, and spending time at the park with my children. With God at the center of my life, I am grateful for every opportunity to serve, learn, and make a positive difference in the lives of others.
