Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.

Psalm 95:1 NIV

The Longmont Christian School Choral Program is made up of sixth to twelfth grade vocalists. This course encourages music appreciation by teaching students the skills necessary for individual and ensemble performances, including proper posture, breathing techniques, scales, music theory, singing as a group, and, when opportunities allow, singing as a soloist. Performance opportunities include concerts throughout the year as well as participation in the ACSI Music Festival, singing the National Anthem at select LCS athletic home games and Christmas Caroling.

Our LCS Choir Mission Statement:

The choral program strives to achieve through musical performance and vocal application the development of student musicality, artistry, spirituality, and intellectual growth. Furthermore, it is our foremost priority to spread the Good Word and carry out the mission God has set before us. We do this through purposefully performing in both the school and community, building a strong foundation of faith, friendship and school pride for the entire Longmont Christian School through music.
