Ranching Club 2nd-8th Grade

Have you ever wondered how cattle are raised, or where our milk and beef come from? Well, this club is for you. You will get hands-on learning all about how to care for cattle, what goes into running a dairy, and where’s the beef.

Wednesday 3:00 – 4:15 November 5th, 12th, and 19th. (We will be having a field trip to a dairy and will come back later that afternoon. I will let you know the date once it gets scheduled). 

Open to interested 2nd – 8th graders (8 years old and younger must bring a booster seat)

We will visit a local ranch or dairy and see cattle up close and safe. We will be using the LCS van and parent or teacher cars for transportation.

Students need to bring a snack and a water bottle. We will also be outside, so bring appropriate clothing to feel comfortable.
