October 12: half-day. School will be dismissed at noon.
The Middle School is having a bake sale this Friday, October 5 during lunch to raise monies to buy workbooks for the school we are supporting in Haiti. This is an incredible school for normal and disabled students to attend. One of the main teachers in the school is Laura Hutchings, a former student from LCS. Each workbook is $8.00. We are trying to raise at least $200.00.
Every item in the bake sale is $1.00, but donations are accepted and appreciated.
We are excited to announce that Dr. Steven Koning will be performing a vision screening for the K-5 students on Monday, Oct. 8. It will be a four part screening. If your child does not pass the screening you will receive a letter. Please let the office know if you prefer your child not to participate in the screening.
Dr. Koning practices optometry at Main Street Vision Care in Longmont along with Dr. Roger Trudell. Dr. Koning, his wife Stacy, and their two daughters Anabelle and Emberlyn recently moved to the area. His oldest daughter, Anabelle is in Mrs. Deaver's PreK class. Dr. Koning and his family are blessed to call Colorado home, and look forward to serving this community and the area for years to come.
