Tuition at LCP

Understanding Cost, Finding Support, and Investing in the Right Choice

You’ve pictured the kind of school you want for your child. Maybe it looks like a teacher sitting on the carpet reading a book during a hard day. Maybe it sounds like students singing in chapel, or feels like a Christ-focused community where everyone is included.

At some point, that vision meets the question every parent has to ask: Can we afford this?

At Longmont Christian Prechool, we understand how personal that question feels. That’s why we’ve made our tuition process open, flexible, and rooted in real partnership. From sliding scale to subsidy programs and monthly payment plans, we’re here to help families find a path that works.

Making a Valuable Education Accessible to More Families

Choosing a premier private school like Longmont Christian Prechool is an investment in your child’s spiritual, academic, and personal growth. We know that kind of commitment takes planning, and we work with families to find a way to make it fit in their budgets.

Tuition Assistance & Scholarships

Longmont Christian Preschool offers need-based tuition assistance to help families afford a Christ-centered education. Assistance is awarded annually based on demonstrated financial need and available funds and typically covers a portion of tuition. Award amounts vary, with school-funded assistance available up to a maximum of 85% reduction in tuition.

For questions or help with the application process, please contact the school office at eolivas@longmontchristian.org.

Colorado Child Care Assistance Program & UPK

Preschool families may also qualify for assistance through CCCAP. This state-funded program helps cover the cost of early childhood education based on household income.

We are also accepting UPK this year: 2026-2027!

Longmont Christian Preschool participates in the state funded tuition subsidy program Universal Preschool Program (UPK). This program provides tuition assistance to ALL Colorado children who turn 4 by October 1st.

Payment Plans

Tuition can be paid in full at the start of the year or a 10-month (August to May) payment plan is also available to help spread out payments.

Tuition Questions We Hear Most Often

What if I’m not sure whether we’ll qualify for variable tuition? Should I still apply?

Yes. There is no cost to apply. Many of our families are surprised that they qualify for a discount.

Are there extra costs beyond tuition?

Most classroom materials are included in your tuition. We ask that each family pay a $100 registration/supply fee at the start of each year. Most of our field trips are free but some require admission. You will always be notified in advance. If this cost is a problem for you, we have scholarship money available to cover special event costs.

When will I receive my tuition agreement?

After completion of the registration and tuition assistance application, tuition is calculated. You will receive your tuition agreement within 48 hours.

What happens if I miss a payment?

An automatic $15 late fee is applied to your account if tuition is not paid on the 5th of the month. If payment is not made by the last day of the month, your child will not be able to attend until payment is made.

Why is tuition the same during months when school is out for break?

Tuition is calculated as a yearly total and then divided into equal monthly payments. It’s not based on a daily rate, so even months with breaks (like Spring Break and Christmas) will have the same tuition amount.
